About Casey Koehler and K.C. Farm Services LLC

Casey Koehler is the owner of Koehler Consulting & Farm Services LLC (K.C. Farm Services LLC). Since 2008, he has provided crop consulting, lime spreading, excavation, and other agricultural services across South Central Kansas and North Central Oklahoma. Through practical experience and trusted advice, he helps producers improve yields and make informed decisions.

Early Life and Education

Casey grew up near Milan, Kansas, where he helped his grandparents, Eugene and Zelda Basinger, on their farm. As a result, he developed a strong work ethic and a lifelong passion for agriculture.

After graduating from Argonia High School in 2003, Casey earned a football scholarship to Dodge City Community College. He later transferred to Kansas State University and graduated in 2008 with a degree in Agronomy, specializing in Crop Consulting and Crop Production.

Building a Career in Agriculture

Following college, Casey founded K.C. Farm Services LLC and began his career in crop consulting. At the same time, he started farming his grandparents’ 1,000 acres. This hands-on experience continues to shape the practical recommendations he provides to local producers.

A few years later, Casey joined the Kansas Association of Independent Crop Consultants (KAICC), further demonstrating his commitment to professional growth and industry standards.

Growing K.C. Farm Services

In 2010, Casey expanded the business by purchasing the local lime spreading operation from Cornelson/Slack Farms. As a result, he was able to offer producers another service aimed at improving soil health and crop performance.

Then, a few years later, he invested in excavation equipment and added general dirt work services. Today, K.C. Farm Services provides a wide range of agricultural and land improvement solutions to meet the changing needs of its customers.

Innovation and the Future

In addition to his current services, Casey has spent more than 10 years developing an innovative ramp gate system designed to improve safety and convenience. The system is intended for farmers, ranchers, crop consultants, hunters, and ATV enthusiasts. After years of testing and refinement, it is now nearing production.
